Presented by the We Are Artists Podcast - Bring Me 2 Life Network and the "Safe Space for Artists" Facebook Group.
Art has the power to wake us up, tell our stories, and bring meaning to moments we can’t always put into words. This creative feature contest is an invitation for artists to share work that reflects transformation, intention, and creative voice—while also learning how to submit artwork in a professional, real-world way.
This contest is part of the We Are Artists podcast series and is designed to support emerging and independent artists who want visibility, experience, and guidance—not just exposure.
Our intention is twofold:
One: To highlight artists and their work through features on the Bring Me 2 Life platform and the We Are Artists podcast+ Safe Space for Artists Facebook Group.
Two: To educate artists on how to submit artwork professionally, clearly, and confidently—skills that translate directly to gallery calls, publications, grants, podcasts, and future opportunities.
This is not just a contest.
It’s a practice run for putting your work into the world.
Bring Me 2 Life explores the moment something awakens—emotionally, creatively, spiritually, or personally. This theme based of the hosting network invites artists to interpret what it means to feel alive again, to reconnect with purpose, or to bring something unseen into form.
This could be:
A personal rebirth or healing moment
The return to creativity after grief, burnout, or silence
Breath, movement, energy, or emotional awakening
Symbolic resurrection, transformation, or renewal
Visual interpretations might include:
Light emerging from darkness
Figures awakening, stretching, or rising
Nature reclaiming space
Color shifts from muted to vibrant
Symbolic elements like birds, hands, hearts, fire, water, or roots
This theme is open-ended and welcomes literal or abstract interpretations.

Artists are encouraged to include a short artist statement (3–5 sentences) about the submitted piece.
This may include:
